Last Construction Update from This Site!

Completion is in sight and residences are now being leased so we are transitioning from a construction update web page to a leasing page. Below is the final construction update from here but we’ll keep you up to date on the final construction phase on the Timeline Facebook page.

Here are the construction activities happening at The Windward this coming week.

The Windward along “A” Avenue – Oregon Rustic Inspired

On the exterior, the canopies on the NW elevation are being painted this week and next. The canopies on the SW were finished last week. Inside the building, punch list and touch up continues on all 3 floors in the building. plumbing fixtures are continuing to be installed on all 3 floors as well as appliances. The ground level lobby space is painted and has the light fixtures installed. Tile on the walls and fireplace is being finished. Flooring will start once the tile is complete.

The Windward along Second Street – Arts and Crafts Inspired

Pavers are being installed in the East / West walkway this week. Trees are installed in most of the planters and plantings are beginning to be installed as well. On the North portion of the West elevation, thin brick is being installed this week and will finish up next week. The scaffolding will come down next week after the brick is installed. On the South portion of the West elevation, cladding is being finished up this week and next with paint following at the end of next week. Inside the building, the ground floor units will have painting of the trim and base completed. On the 1st floor, doors, hardware, and trim are being installed in the North units. In the South units, flooring is finishing this week and doors will be installed this week as well. On the 2nd floor, flooring began this week in the North units and flooring will begin next week in the South units. On the 3rd floor, countertops were installed this week along with kitchen tile in the North units. In the South units, vanities are being set this week and sinks will be installed next week. In the Conservatory, drywall has started and will continue into next week.

The Windward along First Street – English Tudor Inspired

Inside the building, the lobby has the flooring installed and doors are being installed this week. Pavers along first street continue to be installed with bollards and stone. The ramp over the entry to the garage is currently being built. Exterior light fixtures along the building are installed and powered up. Many of the final exterior doors are being installed this week as well.

Construction Project Office –  457 Second Street, Lake Oswego

Here is what will be happening this coming week.

Exterior canopies on the NW elevation will continue to be painted at The Windward along “A”.

Inside The Windward along “A” plumbing fixtures continue to be installed on the 3 upper floors.

Inside The Windward along “A” appliances continue to be installed on the 3 upper floors.

The tile on the walls and fireplace of the Lobby of The Windward along “A” will be installed.

At The Windward along Second Street, pavers will be installed in the East/West walkway.

At The Windward along Second Street, brick installation will finish on the North portion of the West elevation and scaffolding dismantling will follow.

Painting will begin on the South portion of the West elevation of The Windward along Second Street.

Inside The Windward along Second Street on the 1st floor, doors, hardware and trim being installed in the North units.

Flooring began and will continue on the 2nd floor in the South units of The Windward along Second Street.

Vanities continue to be installed in the South units of The Windward along Second Street.

On the South side the 3rd floor units of The Windward along Second Street sinks will be installed.

In the Conservatory of The Windward along Second Street drywall will continue.

Inside the building of The Windward along First Street the lobby doors will be installed.

Bollards and stone continue to be installed in the pavers along First Street.

The ramp over the entry to the garage at The Windward along First Street is being built.

Final exterior doors at The Windward along First Street will be installed.
